Gary Lankford
Public Speaking (American History, Theater, Christian Worldview and American Culture, World History, and Politics and Government are not being offered
this year).
Gary Lankford is the President of FamilyVision,
the founder of FamilyVision Schools / WAHA, Director of FamilyVision Counseling, and the Director of the Healthy Marriage Initiative of Fairfield County.
Gary is a previous Headmaster and
history teacher for a classical Christian school. His teaching experience
includes over five years in Campus Crusade for Christ, two years as Director of Christian
Education at an evangelical church, and many years teaching children's
church, and youth and adult Sunday school classes. Gary also conducts conferences,
classes, and seminars for churches, county agencies, and homeschool groups.
This is Gary's eighth year teaching at WAHA.
Chemistry, WAHA Jr. Hands-On Science
Dr. Niknam holds a BS in Chemistry, and an MS and Ph.D in Polymer Science.
Although a practicing chemist for more than 20 years, Dr. Niknam has taught science, in addition to his regular job,
since 2005. In addition, he taught Chemistry in Iranian public schools for two years in the 1990's!
Dr. Niknam has four children, ages seven to twenty three, and still homeschools his youngest child. This is Dr. Niknam's third
year teaching at WAHA. Middle School Grammar and Writing, English Composition, Rainbow Science, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra Suzanne holds a BS in Biology from Bob Jones University, and taught Math and English in a Christian
school for 10 years. Interestingly, Suzanne was homeschooled in Africa while her parents were missionaries there, and homeschooled her
own children for many years. Suzanne's husband is a Senior pastor in Westerville. This is Suzanne's third year teaching at WAHA. WAHA Jr. Gym Ginny holds a Bachelors of Education, and extensive classroom experience in both public and Christian schools in three states,
and has taught K-3, middle school, high school, and college. She also started volleyball programs in three different Christian high schools and her teams have won
multiple state championships! Ginny has two adults sons. This is Ginny's first year teaching at WAHA. WAHA Jr. Science Brue a BS in French and a Masters in K-3 Education. He has 10 years of classroom teaching experience, including 5 in a Christian school.
Brue is a stay-at-home Dad with two daughters, 6 years old and 3 years old. This is Brue's first year teaching at WAHA. Elena Latin 101, Latin 201, European Literature Elena has B.S. in History from Moscow
State Pedagogical University, Russia, and B.A. in French language and
Literature. She lectured and completed her graduated study at OSU. She
has taught at Columbus School for Girls and Grace Brethren Home Educators
Fellowship. Elena has also taught French and Latin at a Classical Christian
School for the last eight years. This is Elena's sixth year teaching at WAHA. Elaine WAHA Jr. Art Elaine holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Columbus College of Art & Design. She has three years teaching experience at CCAD,
plus another five years teaching at a Christian school. Elaine loves to paint and sculpt. She has two children, one of whom will be attending WAHA. This is Elaine's
second year teaching at WAHA.
Brittany Drawing and Painting Brittany holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Columbus College of Art & Design. Her major emphasis was on 2-dimensional studies, with lots of drawing and painting experience.
For three years, she taught "at risk" children in the Dayton Area. She currently works for Limited Brands. This is Brittany's second year teaching at WAHA.
